The Team

Angela Parrish

Lead Musical Director

Award-winning songwriter Angela Parrish weaves radiant threads of American music. Millions of cinema devotees heard her buoyant vocals on “Another Day of Sun,” the song that opens the Academy Award-winning film musical La La Land. She has written and performed with the legendary Paul Williams, and she most recently sang backing vocals on the 2018 Florence + the Machine album High as Hope. Her newest EP release is titled Vehicle.

Kim Whalen
Artistic Director/ Director/ Lead Instructor

Kim is the artistic director for Gray Studios, Broadway. She has her BFA in Theatre Arts from the University of Texas at Arlington and starred as Luisa in the Fantasticks  at the Snapple Theatre Center on Broadway. She is an actress of both stage and screen and trained classically in opera and has lent her talents to film and tv as well as theatre.Tv credits include Austin & Ally (Disney), S.W.A.T (CBS), Being Mary Jane (BET), Code Black (CBS), CSI: Cyber(CBS), It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX), Intelligence (CBS), Body of Proof (ABC), and Perception (TNT) and film include Dakota Summer (20th Century Fox), Terrance Malick’s, The Tree of Life (Fox Searchlight) and Jodi Arias (Lifetime) She loves teaching and directing and believes theatre should be a requirement in all schools, as it encourages listening, kindness, sympathy and focus. All of which are building blocks of an incredible human being and actor. Kim has been in many equity productions.

Megan Elizabeth Littler
Lead Choreographer & Director

At 17 Megan moved to LA and booked her first job as a pointe dancer with the Legion of Extraordinary Dancers. Since then,Megan has been consistently working in the industry as a dancer, choreographer, producer and actor and has appeared on countless shows including Disney Channel’s ‘Teen Beach Movie’, 90210, Switched at Birth, So You Think You Can Dance, and America’s Got Talent. Most recently Megan starred in her very own Hulu hopeful pilot, The Book of Lucy,and landed a role on the reprise of the iconic television series, Will and Grace. At 15 years old, Megan was touring the country as a master dance instructor and assistant choreographer. Megan now works as a personal dance coach to many professional actors in LA. Most frequently Disney Star, Dove Cameron. 

Shanelle Gray

Owner

Shanelle Gray is thrilled at the development of this program-a dream of hers since the on set of Gray Studios over 14 years ago. As a little girl she originated the role of Cosette in the Original Broadway production of “Les Miserables” in addition to many television and film productions-to see these children perform and to help guide them is something that she always wanted to do.
